Crock-pot recipes from my friends...
Hamburger Casserole:
- Cooked ground beef
- Diced potatoes
- Diced carrots
- 2 cans cream of whatever soup
Balsamic Chicken:
Chicken and Dumplings:
Beef Stew:
- Stew meat
- Chopped potatoes
- Baby carrots
- Beef broth
- Tomato sauce
Shepherd's Pie:
Turkey:
- Put turkey in the crock pot (bone in
- Add one package of Lipton onion season
- Add 3 Tbs butter
- Cook on low for 10 hours
Roasted Chicken:
Slow-Cooker Tex-Mex Round Steak:
Tortellini Soup:
- One bag frozen torts
- One can Italian style tomatoes
- One box vegetable beef broth
- One 8oz cream cheese
- One small bag fresh spinach
Stew for 4 hours
Polish Dinner:
- Kielbasa
- Green beans
- Potatoes (cut up)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cook for 3 hours.
Sweet and Sour Pork Chops:
- Put brown sugar on the bottom of crock pot.
- Lay the pork chops on top (can be bone in or boneless)
- Drench in Italian dressing (the dressing should almost cover the pork chops)
- Squirt yellow mustard on top of each pork chop
- Sprinkle will a generous amount of brown sugar
- Cook 4-6 hours
Roast:
- Your favorite roast.
- Stick of butter.
- Packet of Italian dressing.
- Packet of Au Jus.
- 6-8 Peppercinis.
- Serve on mashed potatoes or noodles
Spanish Chicken:
- 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can corn
- 1 jar salsa
- Add all to the crock pot on high 4-5 hours or low 6-7 or until chicken is done. Chicken will shred apart. Eat over rice with a little sour cream and cheese or in a taco shell.
Buffalo Chicken:
- Chicken breast
- Packet of powdered ranch
- Hot sauce
- Shred it and serve as buffalo chicken lettuce wraps
Sweet n Sour Kielbasa:
- 3lbs kielbasa cut up
- One large can of crushed pineapple
- One bottle of Heinz Chile Sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Easy Chicken:
- Frozen chicken breasts
- Chicken broth
- Then sprinkle a packet of Italian dressing mix (dry mix) on top
- Turn on low and cook all day
Comfort Chicken:
- Chicken breasts on bottom of crock.
- Uncooked stuffing mix.
- 1/4-1/2 cup water
- Mix 1 can cream of chicken with 8oz sour cream and put as top layer.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hrs (or til chicken is done).
- Mix stuffing with sour cream mixture right before serving.
Crock-pot Mac N Cheese:
- 8 oz (dry) elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12oz can of evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper.
- Mix all but 1 cup of the cheese in large bowl. Coat the crockpot with non-stick spray and transfer mixture to the crockpot. Top with the remaining cheese. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or until mixture is firm and golden brown around the edges. Do not remove cover or stir mixture until it has finished cooking. If you double this recipe it will cook for 5-6 hours on high.
Slow-Cooker Mississippi Roast:
BBQ Pork:
- Pork loin (I like Smithfield mesquite).
- Dump in BBQ sauce of choice.
- You can also add a little onion if you want.
- Cook on low all day. Makes pulled pork for sandwiches or tacos.
Dr. Pepper Pork:
- 1 can Dr. Pepper
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2-3 pound pork roast
- Cut pork into sections so it will fit into your crock pot.. Flip pork pieces in the onion soup mix till they are coated. Layer the chunks into the crock pot. Pour the Dr. pepper over the pork until it is nearly covered. Cook on high for 4-5 hours
